Editorial policy
Local Insight Hub aims to make place-reading clear, curious and careful. We distinguish observation from interpretation, check factual claims against suitable sources, and correct material when we find it is wrong or incomplete.
Accuracy and context
We review names, dates, terminology and historical claims before publication, and take care not to present a visual clue as proof of a full story. Where interpretations differ or the evidence is uncertain, we describe the limits rather than imply certainty. Readers can send questions or corrections through the Contact page.
Independence and corrections
Editorial choices are made for reader interest and fit with the publication, not to promise coverage to a partner. If a material error is confirmed, we correct the affected text and clarify the change where appropriate. We consider substantive correction requests on their merits and do not treat disagreement alone as proof of an error.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, provided or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly identified as such, and partner relationships do not guarantee favourable editorial coverage. Some illustrations are AI-generated; when an illustration could be mistaken for a documentary image, we label it clearly. Illustrations are not presented as evidence of a real place or event.
